We got Christmas dinner to go and the place was slammed! They told me I could still order but it could take about an hour and a half. I expected this for Christmas day, so I was happy to come back for it. It ended up being ready in about 30 minutes! I was really impressed by how efficiently they worked through the dinner rush. The beef rice noodle was super tender and the cashew chicken had lots of fresh veggies.

Arguably the best Chinese restaurant in the Tri-Cities, and yes, I know the competition is pretty low, but this place actually delivers. They have some truly authentic dishes, and their boiling beef (水煮牛肉) is a must-try. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving real Chinese flavors.

I have been coming to Family Garden for over a decade. The food is always consistently delicious, service is excellent (and very fast--great if you are in a hurry!), and the menu huge. I recommend trying some of the lesser-known dishes instead of the usual stuff (Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, etc.). I strongly recommend the hot pepper chicken, the cumin beef (or lamb or chicken) and the protein with string beans. Their kitchen always cooks to perfection, and I love that they don't drown dishes in sauce.
